The deceased were identified as Dhruv Kumar (60) and Kishan Mandal (27). The injured, Mangu, was discharged after treatment, they added.
Kumar and Mandal were rescued from the debris and were taken to a hospital where they were declared brought dead, the police said.
A spokesperson of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation said three people were injured in the incident, out of which two died.
"The owner of the building was getting some demolition work carried out in his single-storeyed house. Two labourers were there with him. The owner and one of the labourers died while the third person, after getting medical attention, has been sent home," he said.
