Two drug smugglers held with 21 kg charas
Acting on a special tip-off, Somdutt Lohar of Kapilavastu district in Nepal and Mahngi Lal of Basti area were arrested with over 21 kg of charas, Rs 45,000 in cash and two mobile phones from roadways trisection this morning, Home department sources said.
On interrogation, it was found that Mahngi Lal used to get charas from Somdutt and sell it in Haryana, Delhi and western UP districts, sources said.
A case has been registered against the duo while the further investigations are on, they added.
