According to police, allegedly, Krishna Reddy of Gunakan Palli had a feud against Ankireddy Sudhakar Reddy and his group for decades.
His brother was killed in 2006 by the rival group. He also had survived an attack in 2007.
Today Krishna Reddy allegedly hurled two country made bombs on the vehicle in which Sudhakar Reddy and three others were travelling to attend a court at Kadapa in a case related to the murder of Krishna Reddy's brother, the police said.
Lingala police registered a case and made additional security arrangements in the village, even as Pulivendula Deputy Superintendent of Police Harinath babu rushed to the spot.
Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar told reporters at Kadapa that faction fights would be curbed.
Ironically, both the groups belongs to the YSR Congress.
