Additional district sessions judge, North Dinajpur, U K Shaw passed the order against Subrata Kundu and Chitta Biswas, who were convicted under section 302 of the IPC for murdering Mujibar Rahaman in the Rupahar village under the jurisdiction of Raiganj police station.
The duo had fired upon Rahaman after the latter protested against Subrata's stalking his 16-year-old daughter, and killed him on September 23, 2009.
The police had arrested both accused soon after the incident.
