Two GNLA militants killed in Assam

Two suspected militants of the Garo National Liberation Front (GNLA) were killed in an encounter with the Army at Hudakona here, police said today.
The exchange of fire took place between the militants and the troops of the 19 Durga Regiment last night.
An improvised explosive devise, three grenades, and two 9mm pistols were recovered from the slain ultras, they said.
