The incident occurred when Babu Bhil and Nandram Bhil stopped Dharmpal Biloniya who, along with his associate, was selling clothes to villagers in his car, a Simrol police station officer said.
However, as Biloniya refused to sell them clothes due to their aggressive behaviour, the Bhil duo attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon.
Biloniya died on his way to Indore's MY Hospital, police said, adding that the accused duo are absconding.
Police have registered a case against them.
