Two killed, nine injured in road mishap
The autorickshaw carrying 15 passengers was hit by a road transport bus coming to Machilipatnam from Rajahmundry at around 10 AM.
While two persons died on the spot, nine others including the autorickshaw driver sustained injuries in the mishap, police said.
The deceased were identified as E Peedakonda (32) and G Subramanyam (33), from Neelakhantapuram village of Gudlavalleru Mandal of Krishna district.
The injured were admitted to Gudivada government hospital, while two seriously injured were shifted to Vijayawada government hospital, police added.
