"Two persons were killed in an apparent low intensity blast," Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar said.
"Some materials used in making crude bombs were found scattered at the spot," he said, adding few samples have been collected for examination.
A part of the thatched shed where the bombs were being made was damaged in the explosion.
The victims were identified as Dinu Bauri (35) and Srinath Bauri (37), police added.
