Police said a man fell into the well, which had a low wall when he went to it to fetch water from it. As he bent far to pull up the bucket he slipped into it suddenly.
A man, who saw him falling rushed to his rescue and jumped into the well but was also drowned, the police said.
Both bodies were pulled out, the police added.
