Two persons beaten up for opposing harassment

Two persons were beaten up allegedly by four miscreants when they opposed harassment of a woman of their family in Khanderwala locality here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday during a marriage ceremony when the miscreants tried to harass a woman, following which Atul Kumar and his son Arpit opposed it.
The accused beat up the duo and also damaged their car, they said.
The victims have been admitted to a government hospital.
A case has been registered in this connection, police said adding, efforts are on to nab the absconding accused.
