Two persons were killed and six others injured when a MUV in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck in Bihar's Samastipur district, police said today.
The incident occurred on NH 28 near Rupauli village when driver of the MUV lost control over it and rammed into a stationary truck late last night, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Ramlal Choudhary (62) and Mamta Devi (35), Musrigharari police station SHO Parmanand Lal Karn said.
The six injured persons were admitted to a private clinic at Musrigharari, he said adding that both the deceased and injured persons are residents of Belahi village in Madhubani district.
