Two sisters killed after being struck by lightning

Two minor girls were killed today when lightning struck them in Pahadwa village of the district, police said.
The incident occurred when Bhuri (17) and her younger sister Amita (14), daughters of Vesta Dawar, were grazing cattle in the field, Jobat sub-divisional police officer R S Waskala, told PTI.
Both the girls died on the spot and their bodies were handed over to the family after post mortem, he said.
Meanwhile, district collector Shekhar Verma has announced a financial aid of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
