Two stranded students rescued by SDRF in Kargil

After a night-long operation, two teenagers stranded at a park due to rising water level in a river, were rescued in Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
Hassainan Jaffar and Imtiyaz Hussain, both students of 11th class, had gone to Sherbagh Baroo park in Kargil but left stranded due to sudden rise in the water level of the river, a police spokesman said.
On getting the information, he said police along with State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) immediately swung into action and after a night-long operation rescued the stranded boys.
