Two ULFA linkmen apprehended

apprehended and huge quantities of arms and ammunitions recovered from them in Assam's Dhubri district today.

Acting on a tip-off, patrolling army personnel nabbed the duo from Folimari area of the district and recovered the arms and ammunition from them, the police said.

The security forces recovered a .303 rifle with seven live cartridges, one .22 pistol with seven live cartridges, a 9 mm pistol with 12 rounds of cartridges, a detonator, two magazines and materials to make country-made guns, the police said. The duo were later handed over to the police.
