Anand Yadav (24) was beaten to death in Araipur village in Gadwar area, last night allegedly over an election related dispute, they said.
Police said a case has been registered against 12 people in this regard and one person has been detained.
In another incident, Ritesh Ranjan Sharma (22) was stabbed to death by unidentified persons in Kotwali area, they added.
