Two youths were injured today after they were allegedly hit by a security forces vehicle during clashes between forces and protestors here, police said.
After the Friday prayers culminated at the Jamia Masjid in Nowhatta area of the city here, a group of youth started pelting stones on the security forces, a police official said.
He said the forces fired tear shells to chase away the protestors. However, few of the protestors attacked a vehicle of the security forces which then hit two of them, leaving them injured.
The injured were taken to SKIMS hospital in Soura here where they are being treated upon, the official said.
