The Uttarakhand Cabinet on Wednesday approved several proposals including sanction of Rs 3.73 crore for the survey of buildings vulnerable to natural disasters and the draft of a legislation on organic farming.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to preparing a unified safety programme under the high intensity earthquake minimisation programme, state minister for urban development and housing Madan Kaushik said at the media briefing after the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.
The Cabinet also decided to increase the grant for community radio station from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
It also made it mandatory for entrepreneurs to register under the state government's policy for start up projects.
