Unitech leases 8 lakh sq feet of office space to US firm

Unitech has leased eight lakh sq ft of office space in its Gurgaon SEZ for 15 years to US-based consultancy firm Aon Hewitt.
The leasing deal in its Gurgaon Infospace Tikri SEZ with Aon Hewitt is worth Rs 800 crore, sources said.
The lease tenure is for 15 years and this is the largest deal in North India in over an year, they added.
A Unitech spokesperson declined to comment.
Total rentable area on completion of this SEZ project is 3.32 million sq ft. About seven lakh sq ft area is already operational with bluechip MNC tenants like Genpact, Colt, Cognizant and NTT.

Rental values in this area are upwards of Rs. 60 per sqft per month.
The 25 acre Infospace Tikri SEZ is located next to a 150- acre ultra modern residential township being developed by Unitech (Uniworld resorts).
