"The farmers have suffered immense losses because of untimely rains and hailstorm... State government is doing everything to compensate it," Yadav said in Sitapur today.
"The government is taking steps for ensuring permanent development of the state as the development of the country was not possible without that of UP," Yadav was quoted as saying in an official release.
Addressing a public meeting, Yadav said that UP is the state with maximum population and it (UP) needed to be given importance in the "Make In India" campaign in keeping with the availability of resources and availability of markets here.
