"The labour department has been asked to prepare a website similar to naukri.Com to cater to 72 lakh unemployed youths. The site will help the youths all over the country and assist them in finding a suitable job", Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IDC) Alok Ranjan said.
The government has been providing unemployed youths with allowance, training, employment counselling etc. And now the construction of a web portal will help them search jobs.
He said over 12 lakh youths have been provided unemployment allowance till July 17 last.
