To protest against privatisation of power distribution in earning districts, including Ghaziabad on Delhi's outskirts, Vidyut Karmchari Sanyukt Sangharsh Samiti will go on an indefinite work boycott from tomorrow.
"Employees of energy sector will boycott work from 8 AM tomorrow," a VKSSS statement said here today.
The Samiti warned that if any employee, junior engineer or engineers were harassed during boycott, the government would have to face repercussions.
It said that after privatisation of power distribution in districts like Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Varanasi and Meerut, the losses of the power sector would increase and there was no need for such a step.
