Urad dal price down, sugar up in the market

Prices of urad dal declined, while sugar increased in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Urad dal moved down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 14,900 from its previous rate of Rs 15,000.
In contrast, sugar rose by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 3,300 from Rs 3,150.
However, rest all commodities ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 14,000, Urad Dal Rs 14,900, Moong Dal Rs 10,000, Gram Dal Rs 6,400, Sugar Rs 3,300, Wheat Rs 3,000 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
