Traders said falling demand from retailers against adequate stocks kept pressure on urad and its dal prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local fell further by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,500-7,900 and Rs 8,300-8,500 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 8,500-9,100 and Rs 8,900-9,200 per quintal.
