Vanta Bioscience Ltd to expand footprint in China

Vanta Bioscience Ltd,a city-based contract research organisation today said it entered into an agreement withHongkong ThinkWay Trading Limited to expand its business in the pre-clinical services sector in Greater China.

According to a press release issued by thepreclinical CRO,it alsoentered into non-exclusive agreements to cover the markets of Latin America (LATAM) and Asia Pacific (APAC) for Chemicals and Agrochemical business.

"These are lucrative markets and Vanta Bioscience expects over 25per centof its revenues this year to come from this initiative.

The Company believes that this association will help in obtaining key clients and further business opportunities in China and will fuel the Company's growth prospects in years to come,"the company said.

Managing Director of Vanta Bioscience Ltd,M Dopesh Raja said theexpansion into China, APACandLATAM markets will help in securing long term contracts asthe companywill be in a sweet spot of demand-supply gap in many of the countries in this region, thus paving way for a robust and sustainable growth for Vanta Bioscience.

Vanta Biosciences shares are trading at Rs 74.90 apiece up 5.64 per cent on BSE over previous close.
