Vardhan has assets of 2.8 crore

BJP candidate Harsh Vardhan's assets have increased from Rs 1.7 crore to 2.8 crore, which he declared while filing his nomination for the April 10 Lok Sabha polls in Delhi.
Five-time MLA and the former Health Minister of Delhi Harsh Vardhan who will be contesting from Chandni Chowk Parliamentary constituency.
He has declared movable assets worth approximately Rs 39 lakhs which includes the assets of his wife Nutan Goel and his two children.
In the affidavit filed before 2008 Delhi Assembly election, Vardhan had declared Rs 1.74 crore as his movable and immovable assets.
His movable assets include Rs 62,700 cash, 357.51 gm of gold jewelley worth around Rs 10,03,900, 2.2 Kg of silver articles worth Rs 91,700 and a diamond ring worth Rs 1,23,500 along with clinical assets worth Rs 10,775.

Vardhan also possesses two cars--a Zen Estilo worth around Rs 2 Lakhs and a Toyota Etios Liva worth around Rs 4.6 lakh.

His wife Nutan possesses Rs 29,200 in cash, gold jewellery of 167.24 gm worth Rs 4,69,600 and silver articles of 568 gm worth Rs 23,200.
He has shown immovable assets worth Rs 2.4 crore which includes an inherited property in Krishna Nagar, whose current market price is 70 lakhs and a flat in Exotica Elegance in Gautam Budh Nagar falling in Uttar Pradesh which is jointly held by him and his wife.
His wife Nutan has an individual flat in sector 22 in Dwaraka which is worth over 1 crore.

Vardhan has shown Rs 7.7 lakh as income in his last year's income tax return.
He has a liability of around Rs 17 lakh in car and home loan.
According to his affidavit, two criminal cases are pending against him. In both the cases chargesheets in the courts have been filed.
