VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan will contest from Chidambaram (reserved) constituency while former MLA and party's general secretary Ravikumar will contest from Tiruvallur (reserved) Constituency.
"I have decided to contest from Chidambaram (reserved) constituency while party's general secretary, (former MLA) Ravikumar will contest from Thiruvallur (reserved) seat," he told reporters here.
The DMK on March 10 had announced candidates for 35 seats, leaving five to its allies - VCK (2) and one each for MMK, IUML and Puthiya Tamizhagam.
The highlights of the manifesto are VCK's demand for formation of 'Tamil Eelam' (separate homeland for Tamils in Sri Lanka) and change in Indian foreign policy.
In 2009, Thirumavalavan contested from the same seat and emerged victorious. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Chidambaram constituency by a margin of 99,083 votes.
