"Today, I lodged complaint against Mr Sanjay Patel with Mudgal Commission regarding his continuous wrong statements in media about IPL-6 scam enquiry," Verma was quoted as saying in a media release.
When Justice (Retd) Mudgal was asked about Verma's complaint, he was non-committal.
"May be he (Verma) has lodged a complaint but I am not supposed to make any comments in the media about it," Mudgal told PTI today.
