Veteran scribe passes away
The press club in a resolution condoled the death of Bandyopadhyay who had once been the district correspondent of Dainik Basumati.
At the age of 80 he had been suffering from old age-related problems and breathed his last at home.
Bandyopadhyay, who hailed from Salkia area, had also penned articles about the history of the region.
