Veterinary doctor shot dead by unidentified assailants in UP

A veterinary doctor was shot dead allegedly by unidentified persons in Dadamai village here, police said today.
The body of 50-year-old Ramji Lal was found in the village yesterday afternoon in Sasni area with a bullet wound on his chest, they said.
According to the family members of the doctor, he was missing from past two days. However, no missing complaint was registered at that time.
An FIR was lodged today after the body was recovered but no arrests have been made so far in this connection, police said.
The investigation is underway, police added.
