The anti-corruption wing of Odisha Police has registered a fresh case against suspended IAS officer Partha Sarathi Mishra, who was arrested in February on corruption charges.
Mishra was granted conditional bail by the High Court last month.
Booked afresh, the beleaguered IAS officer now faces criminal charges for allegedly entering into a criminal conspiracy for dishonestly issuing appointment letters to at least 49 dealers during his tenure as Managing Director (MD) of the Odisha Small Industries Corporation (OSIC).
The vigilance sleuths have also booked three other OSIC employees and all 49 dealers, who were appointed in contravention of the corporation guidelines in this case.
The officials are former DGM Ajit Kumar Padhi, joint manager Santanu Kumar Tripathy and junior manager Suddhansu Sekhar Otta.
