Vijay Jasuja takes over as CEO of SBI Card

SBI Card, credit card arm of SBI, today announced the appointment of Vijay Jasuja as Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Jasuja succeeds Pallav Mohapatra, who has moved to the bank.
With over three decades of experience in the banking industry, Jasuja joined the SBI in 1982, SBI Cards & Payment Services Private Limited (SBICPSL) said in a statement.
Having registered a substantial growth in FY'13-14, in terms of new customer acquisitions and spends on cards, SBI Card has strengthened its position in the credit card market as the third largest issuer in India, it said.
