The protesters, from Farah and Oal, alleged that Hema Malini "neither bothered to visit their area nor fulfilled her promise of getting two major roads, connecting Jajampatti to Farah and Oal to Barari, renovated".
The villagers shouted anti-BJP and anti-Hema Malini slogans and said they will make sure the party bites the dust in their area in the UP Assembly polls due next year.
