DMK leader and former Union Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran today had a different take on what AIADMK cadres need to do to ensure Chief Minister Jayalalithaa "remains" in the state -- vote for him in the Lok Sabha polls.
"AIADMK cadres are so fond of their leader. I am telling all AIADMK workers, since you are so fond of your 'Amma', vote for DMK and keep your leader in Tamil Nadu itself," Maran said.
His remark at a roadside election campaign meeting comes against the background of AIADMK seeking a larger role for Jayalalithaa at the Centre.
He earlier listed out the "achievements" of the erstwhile DMK government.
