The other two victims were identified as Mallikarjun Reddy from Hemlata Minerals, a subsidiary of Lloyd Metals, and village police official (Police Patil) Raju Sadaphad from Surjagad.
The company had been alloted a mining block in the area, and the three had gone to Mange village for "holding negotiations" with Naxals who were opposed to mining in the area, according to the police.
At around 9 pm yesterday all three were allegedly gunned down by the outlaws near Surjagad village.
