The maximum temperature was recorded at 24.7 degree Celsius, which was two deg C above normal.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 12.8 deg C, four deg C above normal, the MeT department said.
The city did not receive any rainfall in past 24 hours.
The sky remained partly cloudy and the humidity level hovered between 84 per cent to 47 per cent.
The MeT office has predicted mist or shallow fog in the morning and a partly cloudy sky which would become clear later in the day.
The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 23 and 11 degree Celsius respectively.
