Atletico de Kolkata star defender Jose Miguel Gonzalez Rey today said they are focused on the game against Kerala Blasters FC tomorrow and not thinking about the ill-tempered clash against FC Goa in the previous ISL outing.
"The most important thing is to forget what happened in the last game. We are now ready for three points. The last game is past. The focus is tomorrow," the UEFA Champions League winner for Liverpool told reporters.
The AIFF disciplinary committee today cracked the whip on three from ATK and one from FCG in the aftermath of their tempestuous clash.
ATK forward Fikru Teferra was suspended for two matches along with FC Goa's Robert Pires.
ATK marquee manager Antonio Habas was suspended for four matches and their goalkeeping coach Predipkumar Bhaktawer for one match.
"No problem," said Josemi, "The coach is not going to play. It's players who would play on the field and we all are together and ready."
He reiterated that there was nothing wrong in the team atmosphere.
"The atmosphere is normal. We are just focussed on tomorrow. ATK is a strong side and the most important thing is to stick together as a team."
Without elaborating what really transpired on the field, the 34-year-old added: "Football is very high intensity game. It's normal, it's football, some players fight. But we respect all the teams. We have to continue with the life and the game, that's most important.
