Weak conditions prevail in pulses market

The wholesale pulses market ended on a bearish note today as select pulses, led by moth, fell up to Rs 325 per quintal on slackened demand against adequate stocks position.
Traders said besides sluggish demand, adequate stocks position in the market kept pressure on select pulses.
In the national capital, rajmah chitra and moth eased to Rs 4,200-7,500 and Rs 4,800-5,100 against last close of Rs 4,225-7,825 and 5,000-5,300 per quintal, respectively.
Moth plunged by Rs 200 at Rs 4,800-5,100 per quintal.
Urad eased to Rs 5,200- 6100 against last close of Rs 5,300-6,100 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, best and dhoya were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,700-6,900, Rs 6,900-7,500 and Rs 7,300-7,700 per quintal, respectively.
Moong weakened to Rs 5,900-6,700 from Rs 5,900-6,900 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, dhoya local and best quality were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 6,600-7,100, Rs 6,600-6,900 and Rs 7,400-7,500 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor small and bold were enquired lower at Rs 5,700-5,850 and Rs 5,700-5,900 from previous levels of Rs 5,700-6,000 and Rs 5,700-6,050 per quintal, respectively.
Masoor dal local and best quality softened by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,700-6,800 and Rs 6,800-6,900 per quintal, respectively.
Arhar and arhar dal data variety declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,700-5,000 and Rs 6,100-6,400 per quintal, respectively.

Urad 5,200-6,100, Urad Chilka (local) 6,700-6,900, best 6,900-7,500, Dhoya 7,300-7,700, Moong 5,900-6,700, Dal Moong Chilka local 6,600-7,100, Moong Dhoya local 6,600-6,900 and best quality 7,400-7,500.
Masoor small 5,700-5,850, bold 5,700-5,900, Dal Masoor local 6,700-6,800, best quality 6,800-6,900, Malka local 6,500-6,800, best 6,700-6,800, Moth 4,800-5,100, Arhar 4,700- 5,000, Dal Arhar Dara 6,100-6,400.
Gram 2,825-3,725, Gram Dal (local) 3,500-3,700, best quality 3,600-3,900, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,400, Rajdhani 1,400, Rajmah Chitra 4,200-7,500, Kabli Gram small 3,500-6,300, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,800-5,200, Peas white 2,900-2,950 and green 3,000-3,100.
