Wendt India reports 4qtr consolidated PAT at Rs 2.60 Cr

Abrasives and precision component manufacturer Wendt India has recorded Rs 2.60 crore consolidated Profit After Tax for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2017
The company had clocked PAT at Rs 2.05 crore during the corresponding period of last year.
Consolidated Profit After Tax for the year ending March 31, 2017 went upto Rs 12.05 crore from Rs 10.78 crore registered during the year ago period, Wendt India said in a BSE filing.
Total income from operations for the January-March 31, 2017 period stood at Rs 41.28 crore as against Rs 38.20 crore registered during the same period last year.
For the year ending March 31, 2017 total income from operations surged to Rs 159.09 crore from Rs 145.77 crore registered during the year ago period.
The Directors have recommended a final dividend of Rs 15 per share (150 per cent on face value of equity shares of Rs 10 each).
The total dividend for the year 2016-17 is Rs 25 per share -- 250 per cent on face value of equity share of Rs 10 each, including the interim dividend of Rs 10 per share declared at the Board meeting in January.
The payment of final dividend was subject to approval of the shareholders, it added.
Shares of the company ended at Rs 2,080.05 crore, down by 1.03 per cent over the previous close in BSE.
