At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, wheat for delivery in January was trading higher by Rs 3, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 1,880 per quintal, with an open interest of 3,590 lots.
Analysts said, increasing of positions by traders on the back of pick up in demand from flour mills in the spot market, mainly kept wheat prices higher at futures trade.
