Wheelchair ramps at Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Vizag rly stations

To help differently-abled passangers board trains easily, the East Coast Railway has introduced mobile wheelchair foldable ramp at Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur and Visakhapatnam Railway Stations on a pilot basis.
The foldable ramp is designed and fabricated by East Coast Railway and can be easily carried, an official said.
The service will be offered free of cost.
The beneficiaries will have to inform the Wheelchair Section near Chief Ticket Inspector (CTI) Office at the stations to avail the service, he said.
East Coast Railway is planning to extend the facility to other important stations shortly, the official said.
