Taking to Twitter, the 36-year-old star said the Garth Davis-directed movie made her cry.
"Wow I just watched the movie 'Lion' and cried for the past few hours. If you haven't seen it please do. It's beyond sad," Kardashian tweeted.
"Lion" revolves around the story of Saroo Brierley, played by Sunny Pawar, and an Australian man who uses Google Earth to find the family that he was separated from in India.
Sunny dominates the screen for much of the movie's first hour, playing five-year-old Saroo lost on the streets of Calcutta.
