Woman bludgeoned to death by two relatives in Gzb;accused held

A 23-year-old woman was bludgeoned to death allegedly by her two relatives in Lajpat Nagar colony here following which the accused were arrested today, police said.
The victim, identified as Poonam, an employee in a private company in Karhera village, was assaulted yesterday with a grind stone by the two sisters, Anita and Soni, who is the wife of Poonam's brother Manoj Singh.
The incident took place in the afternoon when Poonam was talking to her friend over phone, to which the sisters objected to, and when she did not heed them, the duo allegedly battered her with a grinding stone, police said.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Asheesh Srivastav said the woman was bludgeoned to death by them, adding, the siblings have been arrested and sent to jail.
An FIR has been registered under section 302 of the IPC.
Poonam was putting up in a rented flat in the same building where her brother resides with family. Anita and Satya Narayan are also staying in the same flat there and shared rent.
