Woman burnt to death for dowry; husband, father-in-law held

A 25-year-old woman was burnt to death at Dudhli village here today allegedly by her in-laws for dowry.
Rina, who was married to Amit seven months ago, was doused in kerosene and set ablaze by her in-laws for failing to bring a car as dowry, police said, adding, the victim died on spot.
A case was registered against six in-laws of the deceased and her husband Amit and father-in-law Maher Singh Rana have been arrested, police said.
Hunt is on to nab the other absconding accused, they added.
