The incident occurred in the Halia Thana area last night.
Kavita and her daughter accidentally fell into the well, which lacked a fence, when she was passing through the area along with her family, Superintendent of Police, Mirzapur, Asheesh Tiwari said.
The bodies could be taken out only after midnight.
