Woman ends life with two children

A woman allegedly committed suicide alongwith two of her children in Kalyan here today, police said.
The incident took place at Ambivili locality when the woman, identified as Lakshmi Pradeep Waghe (28) administered poison to her three kids--one daughter and two sons and then consumed it herself, they said.
While the woman and two of her children died, the third son is battling for his life at a local hospital, police said.
The reason behind the extreme step is still unclear. However, sources said that poverty and financial distress might have prompted her to do so. Also, frequent quarrels with her fisherman husband is likely to be another trigger, they said.

Further probe is underway.
