According to the police, Noori (35), a resident of Bangalore, was arrested yesterday evening from G B Road area, the red light in Central Delhi.
"Noori herself was a prostitute for years and around eight years ago, she started running a prostitution racket in G B Road. She bought teenaged girls like the one who has been rescued and pushed them in prostitution," said a police official.
Noori's name was revealed by the minor girl who was rescued by police from a brothel along with three women on Friday, he said.
The minor came from Solapur (Maharashtra) around 15 days ago. Two of the women were brought from Andhra Pradesh around one-and-half year ago while one was brought from West Bengal approximately a year ago, police said.
Police are looking for the man who brought the girl and another woman and sold them to Noori, the official added.
