Woman killed in Kashmir cloudburst

A 32-year-old woman died today due to a cloudburst, which also damaged her house, in Anantnag district of south Kashmir, police said.
Jabeena died in the incident while other members of the family escaped unhurt.
The cloudburst struck around 5.45 pm, completely damaging the house of Jabeena's husband Ghulam Hassan Khan, a police officer said.
Heavy rains lashed wide parts of Kashmir including summer capital Srinagar this evening, bringing down the mercury which had crossed 31 degrees Celsius- three degrees above normal.
