Woman sets herself ablaze over argument with daughter-in-law

A woman died when she set herself on fire after a heated argument with her daughter-in-law, who also died in an attempt to save her in Chakeri area here, police said today.
There used to be frequent fights between Kamla (65) and her daughter-in-law Suman (30). Yesterday when both of them were alone at home, they had an argument following which the mother-in-law set herself on fire, a police spokesman said.
When the daughter-in-law rushed to save her, she also got trapped in the fire and later they both died in Ursula district hospital here during treatment, said police.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem and police is further investigating the case, they said.
