Woman severely injured while chasing snatchers

A brave woman tried to chase two bike-borne men who had snatched her mobile phone but received severe injuries after they pushed her and fled, the police said.
According to police officials, the incident occurred last evening when Indu, an employee with a private company, had taken an e-rickshaw from Botanical garden for her home Chhalera.
Two men on a bike snatched her phone but the woman immediately jumped and chased the criminals, the police said.
However, the ruffians pushed the woman and fled.
The woman suffered neck bone fracture in the incident and has been admitted to a hospital, police officials said.

An FIR has been lodged at the sector 39 police station here, they added.
