Woman shot at by father, brother over her love affair

A 20-year-old woman was today allegedly shot at by her father and brother over her relationship with a youth in Kamalpur village in Asmoli area here, the police said.
Ruby was shot at by her father Sami and brother Iftehhar this morning, Circle officer V K Singh said.
She suffered bullet injuries on her face and chest and was rushed to a hospital. Her condition was stated to be serious, the officer said.
The woman was in a relationship with her neighbour but her father and brother were opposed to it, he said.
An FIR has been registered in the matter and efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
